Mable Louise Whitaker, age 91, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016. She was born on May 23, 1925 to the late Luther and Millie (Terry) Heatherly of Lake City. Mable loved spending time with her family, quilting, and listening to gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Claude Whitaker; infant daughter Beverly Louise Whitaker; son Richard Whitaker; daughter-in-law Faye Whitaker; sister Georgia Fritts; sister Geraldine Howard; and brother Luther Heatherly, Jr.

Survivors include:
Son Roger Whitaker and wife, Joanne of LaFollette, TN

Daughter-in-law Sherry Whitaker of Heiskell, TN

Grandchildren Allen Whitaker and wife, Kim of Lake City, TN
Tammy Bridges and husband, Mickey of Speedwell, TN
Jelena Williford and husband, Michael of Seymor, TN
Jessica Jackson and husband, Nathan of Heiskell, TN

Great-grandchildren Samantha, Chad, JesseRhae, Jared, Molly, Brennan and Brylee

Visitation: Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 7:00 PM ,Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.
Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 9:30 AM to go in funeral procession for a 10:00 AM Interment at the Island Ford Cemetery in Lake City, TN.
