Paul Dexter Massey, age 71 of Lake City, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family. Paul was born on November 12, 1944 in Scott County, Tennessee to the late Chester Olan and Elminia Silcox Massey. Paul loved wood working, spending time with his grandchildren, attending church, singing, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by: brothers: Jonnie Massey, Bud Massey, Gene Massey, and aunts: Viva Simpson and Viola Nelson.

Funeral Service: 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2016 with Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow officiating in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment: Family and Friends will meet at the Massey Cemetery in Scott County, Tennessee on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 12:00 Noon for Paul's graveside service and interment.
